Our Story
In October 2020, Lejla Dauti fearlessly pioneered the LPTMS community by sharing anonymous survival stories on behalf of women in her community through the powerful storytelling series, 'Lejla Please Tell My Story.' This series instantaneously went viral, shedding light on the urgent need for a safe space where female survivors of domestic abuse could heal, recover, and grow.

As the momentum grew, the women in the community found their voices and courageously stepped forward, no longer willing to remain anonymous. They expressed their desire to share their stories openly, igniting a powerful movement that demanded a clear recovery pathway after abuse and systemic change.

Driven by the community's vocal determination, Lejla took action and founded the Lejla Please Tell My Story CIC, a non-profit organisation passionately committed to raising awareness and supporting women on their journey to recovery and empowerment after abuse.
Today, the Lejla Please Tell My Story CIC stands as a beacon of strength and resilience, dedicated to empowering survivors and creating a world where their voices are heard, their recovery is celebrated, and they can thrive beyond the shadows of domestic abuse.
